wonders cease is the collaborative efforts of the designers Emma Fitzgerald & Maryanne Edwards. Following their graduation together in 2004, Maryanne worked as a designer at Veronika Maine for 4 years while Emma as an designer/account manager in childrenswear. Often having similar design and style aesthetics, both craving a new project, the two joined forces in 2008 to create a design venture of their own.
For winter 10 the becoming signature palette of neutrals with a pop colour or two is back albeit slightly more on the dark side. 'The light of dark' features an oilspill palette alongside a strong emphasis on rich textured fabrics like metallic brocades and felted wools with silk crepes and tulles for soft balance.
